    1854: Napolèon 1 fr. dark carmine, horizontal pair, used in combination with 1852 Présidence 10 c. ochre and 25 c. blue horizontal pair, all with good to mostly large margins and in bright, fresh shades, tied by dotted "DS2" cancel to 1854 double rate entire letter from Paris to New York, the left 25 centimes faint corner crease, otherwise very fine and fresh, a remarkable and very attractive letter.
