    1870 (Nov.): Double weight cover carried at parcel rate from Chimbo to Riobamba bearing 1 r. yellow-buff, tied by manuscript "Chim-bo" in ink. A rare handwritten cancellation from Chimbo as from 1869 two fancy cancels had been in use.
