    1866: 17 kr. red, perf. 12, a fine example in rich shade used on 1866 cover from Sistov (Svishtov in Bulgaria) to Galatz, tied "17/5" circular datestamp in blue, with scarce oval Roman dated arrival postmark on reverse "GALATZ 18/V" in blue (Tchilinghirian fig. 809). The adhesive issued on 15 April 1866, this cover representing an early usage of this stamp. therefore this is an early use of the stamp. Refolded but nevertheless opens well for Exhibit display. A scarce cover.
