    French Post Office in Galatz 1859: Entire letter from Galatz to Malta with fine strike of pearled "GALATZ / MOLDAVIE" circular datestamp in blue (Aug 14), reverse with "Constantinople / Turquie" cds of transit (Aug 16) and "Malta" arrival cds (Aug 24) in black; rated "6d." to pay on arrival. Opens well for Exhibit display, a very scarce marking. Ex collection Sassower.
