    Mafia Island, British occupation, Stamps of German East Africa overprinted "G.R. / POST / 6 CENTS / MAFIA", 1915 (May): 6 c. ovpt in black on 20 h. black & red on yellow in a horizontal pair, right adhesive showing variety: "Double overprint", a used multiple of excellent colour and centering, cancelled by No 343 FPO cds. This variety is neither mentioned in Gibbs nor listed in SG, a unique example, cert. Scheller (2024) Gi = £ 8'000 for two singles without variety.
