    1870 (Oct): Bantam ½ d. rose, plate 10, lettered JU-JX, a used strip of four, used on ½ d. violet postal stationery card addressed to Pontypool, last stamp imperforate between stamp and margin (Gi G4g), all tied by neat 'S. WALES SORTING TENDER / UP' Travelling Post Office datestamps (March 7, 1876) in black. A charming and rare usage.
