    Third Watermark 1915/18: Kangaroo 6 d. blue in a dull grey shade, Die II, Plate 2, third narrow Crown over A watermark, perf. 12, a used example of the variety "Bite out of the Kangaroo's Leg", State II (with no line of colour at right), left pane, position 17; lightly cancelled leaving the variety entirely clear. Rare - the John Bozic census (2004) of this variety recorded just 8 used examples, 2 of which are housed in the Australia Post Archival Collection. A major Plate Flaw of the 'Roo issues BW 19(2)da = $ 2'250.
