    Stamp Duty 1884: Stamp Duty, Essay for the 15 s. value designed by Charles Jackson and Ludwig Lang, hand-painted on thick card (75 x 95 mm.) in reddish purple,  pale reddish purple, black and Chinese white, with hand-drawn surround and perforations in pencil. The design similar to that adopted for the issued 1 d. value. Illustrated in "The Stamps of Victoria" by Geoff Kellow RDP on page 227. Superb and of great beauty.rnrnProvenance: Collection J.R.W.
