    1840: 1 d. black, Plate 5, lettered OA, a used example with good to large margins all round and showing portions of adjoining stamps at top and at right, tied to 1841 local cover to India Street, Edinburgh by Maltese Cross struck in orange ink. Reverse with Edinburgh (Jan 14) cds in red. Some aging and file folds away from adhesive, an impressive cover GI AS25 = £ 750.
