    Sideface 1890: Unadopted Essay for proposed ½ d. value, imperforate in yellow-green on wmk'd. ungummed wove paper, showing Duty Plates at base and the Country and Duty legends surrounding the vignette, the Essay adapted in manuscript with "½" placed as per the issued stamp on each side.
