    1840: Mulready 1 d. black letter-sheet, stereo A63, a used example mailed within London struck with 'T.P. / Brompton' in black and Britannia by Maltese Cross in red. Reverse with hexagonal framed "MY. 8 / 1840" datestamp in red of the third day of issue. Horizontal file fold at top and two minor vertical folds but attractive, unlisted in the Karl Louis Card Index and Mike Jackson's 'May Dates'. Rare Gi = £ 2'600.
