    1884 (12 May): Stationery postcard  6 c. green from Riviere des Anguilles to Paris, the indicium struck by oval '34' barred numeral, matching crisp D2 "RIVIERE-DES-ANGUILLES" despatch cds alongside as well as octagonal French "POSS. ANG / PAQ. FR. T No 1 14 MAI 84" datestamp, all in black. Reverse with MAURITIUS transit and PARIS arrival (3 June) cds's. Not only an attractive from a small village office going abroad, in addition sent by the collector's Great Grandfather Numa Marion.
