    1903: Panama Republic Overprint, 10 c. orange, used on cover, showing part of the First Republic overprint in red printed on envelope, from Panama to Poole, England, tied by faint duplex the date unclear, to the reverse a Poole and Lytchett Matravers arrival dated 29 January 1904, soiled and usual wrinkles and light creasing to outer edges; otherwise fine and rare. Only recorded example of the first overprint being applied to the stamp once affixed to cover instead of to the sheet. An excellent and unique example.rn
