    1917 (Sept 1): 2 a. on Turkey 1 pi. ultramarine, overprinted in red with five pointed star and in blue, a fine used example on Lieut. Roffey cover tied by BAGDAD cds (Type 1) in black (14.SEP.17) with "PASSED CENSOR / D" in red at lower left. Reverse with Indian FPO / 55 arrival cds on reverse (Sept 15) in black. Illustrated in "Baghdad in British Occuption" by Freddie Khalastchy FRPSL on page 185. Just 657 stamps issued. A fresh and extremely fine cover, rare.
