    1851: 2 d. ultramarine, worn impression, Plate III (positions 1/13) a vertical pair with huge margins all round and showing complete marginal rule at left, overlapped by 1850 1 d. reddish-rose on yellowish paper, Plate I, with good margins all round and imperceptibly touched at lower right, used on 1851 cover to New Scone, nr. Perth, Scotland tied by barred "48" numeral obliterators of Tarcutta and by circular "SHIP LETTER / ♚ / SYDNEY" datestamp in red (July 18). Reverse with Crowned oval "TARCUTTA" datestamp (July 14) and "GUNDAGI" datestamp (July 15) and Sydney cds (July 18) in black; London cds in red (Nov 29) and Perth cds (Nov 30) where charged "8d." due in manuscript for an incoming Ship Letter.
