    Incoming Mail 1871: France Siege 40 c. orange, eight examples with some elements of ageing, used on 1873 cover from Paris to Rio de Janeiro endorsed "per Str. Ebro via Southampton", tied by Paris Star 4 and Paris / Rue D'Enghien cds (Aug 23); carried at double rate of 3 fr. 20 c.and taxed upon arrival in blue crayon "480" reis due to pay in blue crayon. A most attractive and unusual franking.
