    60 reis black, early Intermediate Impression on greyish paper, a fine four margined example (huge margins on three sides, close but clear at top), used on 10 May 1844 entire letter to Rio de Janeiro (Tixieira correspondence), tied by straight line "S. JOAO. DEL REI" handstamp in brown (Ayres fig. 1170). A fresh and fine entire, especially so with the stamp applied to the obverse of the letter.
