    60 reis black, Early Impression, a fine ample to large margined example, First Composite Plate, State A (position 7), used on 20 January 1844 entire letter to Rio de Janeiro tied by bold strike of straight line "S. JOAO.DEL REI" straight line handstamp (Ayres fig. 1170) in black. Minor vertical file fold well away from the adhesive but a remarkable and extremely rare entire, especially so with the adhesive applied on the obverse of the cover. Illustrated in Juchert "Bull's Eyes on Covers" on page 261.
