    30 reis grey on yellowish paper, Worn Impression, Second Composite plate, State A (positions 15-16), a used horizontal pair on somewhat aged piece, cancelled by "CORREIO GERAL DA CORTE" circular datestamp (August 27, 1843 - first month of use) in black, the adhesives showing the horizontal marginal line at base.
