    Alan Cobham Survey Flight 1921/23: 3 m. mauve & green and 5 m. brown & black tied to illustrated postcard for "Imperial Airways Surve Flight London - Cape Town", by Khartoum cds (23 Dec 1925) and additionally franked by perforated green adhesive label with "Alan J. Cobham" signature neatly tied by oval IMPERIAL AIRMAIL / LONDON - CAPE TOWN cachet (18-11-1925) in violet, addressed to London. The reverse in the famous Pilot's handwriting "22/12/35: The Wadi Halfa - Aswan air links by seaplane following Nile all way could easily be done in 2 hours.
