Overprinted by De La Rue 1897/1903: ½ d. vermilion and 1 d. lilac (four singles and a horizontal pair, used on 1903 registered cover to London all tied by scarce "MAHALAPYE SIDING / CGH" cds's (Sept 21). Reverse with Cape Town registration datestamp (Sept 26) and London arrival (Oct 17) in black and in red.
