    First Issue, overprinted in lower case 1885/87: Cape 2 d. pale bistre, wmk. Anchor, a used example, overprinted "British / Bechuanaland", showing non-constant variety "Be" of "Bechuanaland" omitted, the "B" partially, lightly cancelled in black. An attractive example of an unusual error.
