    1837/1948: Postal history accumulation, comprising over 200 covers, stationery and cards, good selection of British and commonwealth related material, which includes a small selection of early cards from Malta and Gibraltar; noted a British 1900 1 d. postal stationery card sent from Kew Gardens to St Petersburg, Russia, from, and signed by, 'Ernest Salmon' (famous British mycologist & plant pathologist), addressed to a professor and currator at the botanical museum, redirected upon arrival, scarce and interesting; also 1864 French post office in Salonica (Thessaloniki) cover to Italy franked with Napoleon 80 c.; 1893 uprated stationery envelope sent regustered from Istanbul to New York; a varied and interesting selection, mixed condition, nonetheless scarce group with much scope for discovery.
