    Ottoman Empire 1850/1914c.: The box of covers / cards (76), with one or two pre-stamp items but nearly all bearing adhesives from the Dulos issue onwards, unusual 1854 cover from Cosp. to La Canée prepaid to the Netherlands Embassy in Crete; 1864 entire letter from Karlovo (Bulgaria) to Constantinople; including a range of items used abroad including Bulgarian usage with Dulos issue covers from FILIBE (2); Saudi Arabia usages from Medina with 1912 cover with 2 x 1 pi. blue tied by "MEDINÉ" cds, another with 1 pi. blue ex Medine with Censor cachet in blue, Mekke with octagonal MEKKE 2" usage - one on 1914 postcard, 1909 cover with tabbed 1 pi. blue tied "MEKKÉ" cds, 1914 10 pa. green used on 1 pi. postral stationery envelope to Istanbul tied by "MEKKÉ 3" octagonal, superb range of Dulos issue covers and frankings incl. a four-colour franking, two remarkable Empire Issue 1882 covers to USA cancelled by negative seal handstamps and another from Harput, 1879 Empire 50 pa. blue on yellow used to Tunis, Empire issue 2 pi. used on pretty cover tied TARSOUS cds in blue, 1913 cover at sea rate from SINOP to Cosp., 1913 card with 20 pa. red tied by "QUART ISRAELITE" cds, postal stationery and other useful covers/cards noted.
