    1850: 6 cs. black, plate 1, type 3-4, used pair on cover, from GERONA to MADRID, tied by a P.P. handstamp of Gerona in black, with GERONA/CATALUÑA datestamp alongside (27 Feb 1850), four margins, vertical filing crease not affecting stamps, a superb and rare cover, pairs especially difficult during this period.
