    1850: Carta a mano 15 c. red, type I, 'prima triratura', a fresh and fine single example with ample to large margins all round, tied by clear strike of the very rare two-line "PADOVA / 15 GIUo" datestamp in red (Müller 174a = 510 points / Sassone R3) to piece. An appealing red on red piece with this desirable cancellation. Opinion E. Diena (1989); cert. Ferchenbauer (2024) Sassone = € 13'500.
