    Eagles 1864/66: The expansive collection on exhibit leaves (57 items) with ½ r. lilac pairs (3) two with Tepic seal handstamp and another from Leon on piece, and a pair on cover from Guanajuato to Leon; 1 r. ultramarine used on covers (2) ex Leon and Pachuca; 1 r. blue with used examples (4), pairs (5, incl. cover from Oaxaca) and a strip of three ex Guanajuato; 1 r. blue single frankings on covers from Leon, Orizava, and superb cover ex Salamanca; 2 r. orange used (16) and single frankings on covers ex Guadalajara (2), Lagos, Leon, Orizava, Papasquiaro; 3 reales rate covers with 1 r. and 2 r. from Leon and SLP; 4 r. green unused (1) from Vera Cruz (28-1866) and used (7) with one cancelled in manuscript, and a cover with 4 r. green and 1 r. orange from Zacatecas; 8 r. red used (1) superb on piece and a block of four (8-1866) cancelled at Jalapa; a delightful collection.
