    1866: Numerals 10 c. green (lightest file fold), a fresh example on cover to Barcelona, the adhesives tied by light mute obliterator, "CORREO MONTEVIDEO 15 SET 73" despatch cds alongside. Reverse with "P. TRANSATLANTICO 12 / 10 73" datestamp in blue struck on incoming shipmail in Lisbon as well as BARCELONA arrival (Oct 18) cds. Taxed in Spain with "1 PESETAS." due handstamp in blue. An interesting item with British vessel to Portugal and from there to its destination in Spain.rnNote: The colour of the TRANSATLANTICO datestamp gives an indication which shipping company brought the cover to Portugal. Between 1851 and 1873, covers transported by the Royal Mail Steam Ship Company on The Rio - Southampton line got this strike in blue.
