    1877: Napoleon, 5 fr. blue-grey, and Sage, 1 fr. olive, combined with Mexico, Hidalgo, 10 cts. black, 25 cts. blue, 100 cts. red-pink and block of four and a single Porte de Mar 50 cts black (block torn on opening), used on cover, from MÉXICO D.F. to MADRID, French Post Office in Mexico, dated 17 August, an incredibly combination, the only known cover with 5 fr. used from Mexico (only four used in Americas), the cover is also the highest franking of the Porte de Mar issue and the only cover with the 50 cts. value, this franking is unique and the only recorded example. The most important cover of Mexican maritime mail prior to UPU and one the most outstanding item of Mexican Maritime philately.
