    Official Mail: Group of three official covers, 1875, envelope with official embossed backflap, sent Edcuador Ministerio to New York, addressed to Dr. Sr. Antonio Flores (later President of Eduador) with blue-green oval "QUITO / DE / OFICIO" mark, sent via private ship mail, with blue business cachet "MUNOZ & ESPRIELLA NEW YORK" dated 30 March 1875 to front, with arrival in red on reverse 28 March 1875, scarce and comes with two inland official covers with boxed 'De Oficio' marks, comprising a type 1, 1871 Latacunga to Quito and a type 2, c1880, Sta ana to Porteviejo, the latter which comes with a Moorhouse certificate dated 2009, scarce group.rnRemark: Munoz and Espriella had connections with the ship builder Pusey and Jones which started business in 1848 and had an impressive volume of business in South America.
