    1841, 2 d. blue, plate 4, lettered JH, imperf., four margins, used on cover, in combination with 2 d. blue, plate 4, lettered HB, perf 16, from Carlise to Glasgow, dated 22 August 1854, arrival on reverse same day, vertical filing crease centrally not affecting stamps, soiled and stained, however an extremely rare combination 4 d. rate cover, 2 d. blue imperf./perf. combined are very uncommon, just seven examples receorded.rnReference: "Mixed-Franking Covers", by R.C.
