    1843 (Dec 29): Unpaid cover from New York to the US Chargé d'Affairs in Bogotá, endorsed "p. Sch(ooner) Brazos, via Sta. Martha", struck in  transit with "SANTA MARTA / DEBE" oval, framed "DE ULTRAMAR" with rate mark "4", all in red. Scarce and most attractive. Ex the Brian Moorhouse estate.
