    1850: 60 r. deep black, a fine large margined example used on 1865 cover (probably from Campinhas) to Santos, tied by manuscript pen stroke and "S. PAULO" cds in transit; together with an 1864 cover from the same correspondence franked by single 60 r. black tied by Campinas despatch with S. Paulo transit (Sept 22). A fine pair. Ex the Brian Moorhouse estate.
