    1853 (Feb 9): Entire letter from Maroim to St. Malo, France with reverse showing manuscript "Forwarded 19th Feb 1853 by" with oval "FR. GULTZOW & Co. / BAHIA" cachet in blue, thence via London (March 127) where framed "COLONIES / &c. ART 13" applied in red and charged "15" décimes hardstruck on arrival. Scarce.
