    Penasson Issue 1872: 5 pa. brown and typo 1 pi red, perf. 12½ x 13½, used with 1874/75 Bulaq 2½ pi. violet, perf. 12½, on 1875 cover to Trieste, Austria endorsed "via Brindisi", all tied by "Poste Egiziane / Cairo" circular datestamps (Feb 19) with information strike below and boxed 'PD' at right. Reverse with Alexandria cds (Feb 20), Brindisi cds (Feb 25) and Trieste arrival cds (Feb 27). A short lived rate and a particularly attractive and rare three colour franking. Signed Todd AIEP.
