    1837 (Nov 4): Entire letter from Rio de Janeiro to Copenhagen with step type "DARTMOUTH / SHIP LETTER" in black (Robertson S3) of transit with Dartmouth cds (Feb 19) adjacent. London transit cds's in red (Feb 21) and black (Feb 23) and rated "3/3d." in manuscript. Charged 51 sk. in red crayon on arrival (Feb 28). A scarce and attractive entire that opens well for display.
