    Sultan Ali bin Hamoud Issue 1906/08: De La Rue Die Proof for the head-plate, engraved by L.V. Phillips in black on sunken medium wove paper (43 x 49 mm.), with Sultan's portrait and background only, handstamped "9 SEP 1907" in blue at top. A similar Proof illustrated in "The De La Rue Collection" edited by Frank Walton RDP on page 6603. Rare.
