    Arms of the Protectorate 1896 (Feb 14): De La Rue Colour Trials for £ 25 value (2), Imperforate on unwatermarked paper ex the Appendix Sheet (133 x 71 mm.), with one in black & yellow-green and the other in black & green, both signed off in red ink and second example marked "Approved colour but to be printed darker and to be made like the 2d. stamp" in pencil at base. Illustrated in "The De La Rue Collection" edited by Frank Walton RDP on page 5187.
