    Overprinted on India at the Zanzibar Gazette 1895/96: India ½ a. blue-green overprinted, the remarkable complete pane of 120 subjects (12 x 10) showing position 1 with "Dropped B, and inverted V for A in Africa", position 6 with "Broken h in British", position 11: "Broken "f" and 1 for i in Africa", position 60 with "Inverted 's' and flat top to "A" in Africa", position 79 with "Inverted V for A in Africa and under-inked E", position 120 with "1 for i in British"; fresh and remarkably fine but for slight toning, of huge importance as a reference sheet being the sole such multiple now recorded Gi = £ 2'250++. rnrnProvenance: Collection Danson and Minns (mentioned on page 77 of "British East Africa); Collection "Shivani", Spink, London, 8 May 1997, lot 180.
