    Remington Postmaster Provisionals 1895 (Feb 19): Manuscript "½ anna" on 3 a. black on dull red, countersigned "T.E.C.R." (Remington), a used horizontal strip of five, tied to registered piece by MOMBASA circular datestamps (May 9, 1895) in black. An exceptional and rare multiple, believed to be the third largest after an irregular block of eight (also in the "Besançon" collection) and a block of six.
