    Revenue 1901: De La Rue Essay, hand-painted in bright red and Chinese white for the embossed Duty Die cancel (dated for Christmas Day: 25-12-01), applied over Imperforate 50 c. Revenue Colour Trial in greyish-green and Duty Plate handpainted in rose-red and Chinese white (design as utilised in 1915) affixed to small piece.
