    1901 (June-Sept): Locally surcharged 3 c. on 36 c. brown & carmine, a used horizontal strip of three, marginal with Plate number "2" in margin, used on small piece with third stamp normal, the left hand pair showing variety "3 cents Surcharge Omitted", all neatly tied by "Seychelles" code A datestamp 24 March 1902) in black. Rare and most appealing. Cert. BPA (1970) Gi = £ 1'400+.
