    1899: De La Rue piece from the top of "Appendix B" sheet dated at top "Sept 4, 1899 / Seychelles" and requisition number below, showing five 3 c. Imperforate Colour Trials: in black & carmine, violet, maroon & ultramarine, yellow & red, olive-green & black. A rare and most attractive piece, the 3 c. value was never issued.
