    1896 (Aug 1): Locally surcharged 18 c. on 45 c. brown & carmine, three examples (one with Plate number "2" in margin, position 3 on the setting with short "N"), used with 1890 48 c. ochre & green on 1897 registered cover to Hannover, all tied by "Seychelles" code A cds's (Jan 27) and the 48 c. by "B64" obliterator all in black. Octagonal "Ligne N / Paq. Fr. No. 10" in black below (Feb 20). Philatelic but scarce. Signed Georges Lamy.
