    Recess by De La Rue from Perkins Bacon plates 1864/79: 6 d. lilac, perf. 12½, wmk. Crown CC, an unused example in the characteristic pale shade, variety "Watermark Reversed", good centering and of fine colour, unused without gum. Unlisted by Stanley Gibbons with this variety, a scarce stamp Gi = £ 300+.
