    1850: 6 cs. black, plate 2, type 23, used on cover, from TENERIFE (Canary Islands) to PARIS (France), tied by spider cancel in black, with TENERIFE/CANARIAS datestamp in red alongside (13 May 1850), carried by sea to Cadiz and thence overland to Paris, arrival to reverse (6 June 1850), taxed '5' décime due upon receipt, some acid ink erosion to front and minor imperfections, however an extremely rare cover, the sole recorded first issue usage from the Canary Islands to a foreign destination, unique.
