    Postage Due 1880: Great Britain 1 d. venetian red pair (Gi. 166) used on underpaid 1880 cover from London to Bucharest, tied by London W/19 obliterators (Dec 23) in black. Black "T" mark and taxed on arrival with framed "10 BANI" (Kiriac fig. 1648) and five strikes of "50 BANI" Due markings (Kiriac fig. 1664) with manuscript "2 lei 60" at left in blue crayon. Reverse with Bucharest arrival cds (Dec 28). Some faults to envelope but a remarkable and rare usage. Ex collection Sassower.
