    Postage Due 1869: Unpaid entire letter from Genova, Italy to Buharest endorsed "via Pest", with Genova despatch cds (Dec 27), red manuscript "23" (soldi) and blue manuscript "85" (kreuzer) on obverse; struck on arrival with framed "45 BANI" and "85 BANI" Due markings in black for 130 bani to pay (Kiriac figs. 1662+1667). Reverse with Pest transit and "Bucuresti / Dim" arrival cds. Scarce and fine entire. Ex collection Sassower.
