    1872: Paris print 10 b. blue in a horizontal pair and 15 b. chestnut in a vertical pair, used on 1873 underpaid cover to Marseille tied by "GALATZI" cds's (April 23) in black. Struck with "N.A." on despatch (Non Affranchi) and two line "AFFRANCHISEMENT / INSUFFISANT" handstamp in black. "A" = Austria transit and taxed upon arrival (April 29) with "8" décimes in manuscript. A scarce and appealing cover. Ex collection Sassower.
