    1851 (July 19): Entire letter from Adelaide to Campbell Town, Van Diemen's Land, carried privately to Launceston where it was backstamped (Aug 1) and the Campbell Town Postmaster's private "C. TOWN / 1 AUG 51" handstamp applied in black. Prepaid '6d.' in red manuscript and charged '5d.' due for incoming Ship Letter and 1d. for local delivery.
